Google for Education

Google for Education

When schools decide to be a Google for Education school, parents and pupils have no choice. In 2017 the Global Privacy Enforcement Network announced an international Privacy Sweep of apps targeted at children and youth from kindergarten to grade 12. How apps interfere with privacy is not only as stand alone items, but their interaction and sharing data on behaviours with platforms. How schools are locking in these platforms, giving out Chrome Books, children's home use and privacy, needs review.

Points

Education technology would be very interesting to look closer at. Kids and youth have the right to particular protection and it is important that their education history, abilities etc is kept private and not shared or used for other purposes than providing education.
