There have been several cases of researchers easily breaking biometric prints (fingerprint, facial recognition, iris scans). This technology may create an illusion of security.
Not sure. If biometrics etc are poorly designed and can be broken, this is not a privacy issue, but more of a security issue. If we go that way, we should also test cryptographic algorithms etc, but I doubt this is the objective here.
